                BUS DRIVERS NEEDED:   The Paradise Unified School District is seeking individuals interested in being a regular route bus driver and individuals interested in being a substitute for bus drivers.   GREAT opportunity for RETIRED OR NON RETIRED INDIVIDUALS THAT WOULD LIKE a little extra SPENDING MONEY.  Job requires a CDL with school bus endorsement (we provide training), background check, and drug testing.

The 2015/16 school year is here and your child may be eligible for district transportation.  Please review the Parent/Guardian Letter, Bus Rules and Bus Pass Application (below, in the "Forms and Information section).  You may download, print, fill out and mail the application form back to the Transportation Office.  
 
Bus transportation is provided for students living within Paradise Unified School District boundaries and who attend the school in their area of residence under the following guidelines: 
  • K-3 students living more than 1 mile from the school in their attendance area; 
  • Grade 4-6 students living more than 1.5 miles from the school in their attendance area; 
  • Grade 7-12 students living more than 2 miles from the school in their attendance area. 
PUSD charges for all transportation to and from school; students must present a ticket or pass to the bus driver for each ride. Fees collected from riders cover about 12% of the actual cost of providing transportation to students. Free or reduced-cost transportation may be available to IEP students or low-income families.

(NOTE:  We are closed for lunch from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm.)
