In Paradise Unified School District (PUSD), we are proud to provide a high-quality education to elementary, middle and high school students in Paradise and Magalia. Our mission is to graduate knowledgeable, productive, responsible citizens who are motivated to continue learning and are ready to succeed in a complex, changing world.
While the Camp Fire in 2018 destroyed our schools and devastated our communities, Paradise Unified School District (PUSD) never stopped fighting for our students. The hard work we continue to put in toward rebuilding has made it possible for us to provide a brighter future for all PUSD students.
We are creating brand-new modernized schools that not only attract good teachers but equip classrooms with advanced technological tools that will allow teachers to be more effective in preparing our students for 21st century jobs. We will be providing new Chromebooks, a new curriculum, and essential resources to ensure our kids can thrive and succeed – now and in the future.
Locally-Controlled Funding to Meet 21st Century Education Standards
The overwhelming voter approval of Measure Y – a G.O. Bond to provide a safe and up-to-date educational environment for our Paradise and Magalia students – has allowed our District to take swift and essential steps to rebuild and upgrade every single school facility. Thanks to the support of our community, Measure Y funds are now helping provide a safe, modern learning experience.
Rebuilding 21st Century Schools for PUSD Students
Every single school site is getting a new update, and we currently have 22 projects underway. We are building 21st-century classrooms and creating a brighter future for our students.
