Boys & Girls Clubs

The Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley provides a world-class after-school experience that assures success is within reach of every young person who walks through our Club doors, with all members on track to graduate from high school with a plan for the future, demonstrating good character and citizenship, and living a healthy lifestyle.

Our mission is to inspire and enable all young people to reach their full potential as caring, productive and responsible citizens. We provide a safe, fun and engaging after-school environment five days a week for three or more hours per day.  We provide programs and services to over 400 Paradise youth a day and are located on the campuses of Pine Ridge School, Paradise Ridge Elementary, and Paradise Junior High School.

Working collaboratively, Boys & Girls Clubs of the North Valley and Paradise Unified School District are committed to providing life-enhancing opportunities and innovative programs to all youth on the Paradise Ridge. Together we will provide learning that is active, collaborative, meaningful and will ultimately give our youth the skills and competencies they need to build their own futures and inspire the next generation of young people to be great. If you would like any more information about the Boys & Girls Clubs programs and services please contact the Club at (530) 899-0335.

The Paradise Unified School District (PUSD) partners with the Butte County Office of Education (BCOE) to provide daily after-school programs to all students at Cedarwood (grades TK-6). The program starts when the final school bell rings and remains open until approximately 6:00 PM. Please note that this includes minimum days. The program is open every day that school is in session. Students receive homework assistance and participate in a variety of engaging enrichment activities. Enrollment applications are available in the school office or by contacting the appropriate Site Coordinator. You can also find more information on the BCOE Expanded Learning Programs website.
